Not every day we see German warplanes in Amberley. There are thirty cow characters with names like ‘Moolin Rouge’ and the “Moona Lisa’ dotted around the common and the hunt for them is a fund-raising exercise for the local school. Sadly, I didn’t have time to participate – too busy whizzing backwards and forwards to the tip.
