As part of my on-going rubbish project, I’ve come across a fascinating book: Litter – How other people’s rubbish shapes our lives by Theodore Dalrymple. The story so far … Britain has a litter problem. There are many different species to be seen, but the most common are the two depicted. I have not yet reached the chapter about coffee cups, if indeed there is one. And if there isn’t, I shall write it myself!
