As we moved from one day to the next, the night shift headed off to Leicester Square – another part of London that never sleeps. The Casinos are open 24/7, but we made no attempt to go into them. The way we were dressed and the cameras would have probably led to a polite refusal. Leicester Square is all bright lights and colour even on a dull January night – from the neon lights of the different buildings, to the brightly lit windows of the M&M store (a fabulous place to shoot on a cold, grotty day) and, of course, the ubiquitous McDonalds.
