There’s still another week left to see Here We Are at the Old Sessions House. Hosted by Burberry, the show is a compilation of British “social portraiture”, beautifully curated by Lucy Kumara Moore, Christopher Bailey and Alasdair McLellan.
Spread over fourteen rooms, the exhibition is divided into themes, each showing a slice of British life. The viewer is treated to some iconic images as well as a number of images that have not been shown before. Thirty-one photographers participated, including nine RPS Honorary Fellows: Ian Berry; Jane Bown; Stuart Franklin; Brian Griffin; Peter Marlow; Daniel Meadows; Martin Parr; Mark Power and Chris Steele-Perkins.
The exhibition is free, the lovely accompanying booklet is free and the café serves a mean cake … a visit is highly recommended.
