I do have a certain fascination with stickers on telephone boxes and Maya has been putting herself around SW3 recently. There’s a whole body of scholarship to be written on the language of sex adverts – who knows, if I get an idle moment (ha ha), it might be a project for the future. I like the way that one of these stickers has been placed over the instructions for use, implying that Maya is available for a minimum fee of 60p. Tough if you want to use the phone-box, though, and don’t know how to as Maya is obliterating the instructions, but I guess phone boxes are pretty straightforward these days – none of this press button A and then button B malarkey anymore.
