Now if we’re looking for additions to Britain’s worst places, Stroud has to be a contender. This shopping centre used to be a vibrant busy place, where, as teenagers, we used to hang out on Saturday afternoons. Not any more – most of it is closed and fairly deserted for a Friday lunchtime.
