Today’s highlight was having afternoon tea with Susan Meiselas, who gave me some very useful advice. One of the problems I have is trying to decide when a project is finished. How do you decide when to say “my work here is done” and move onto the next project? Susan’s thinks that there are some projects that are just ongoing, but suggests that the end of the project might be in sight when you start thinking more about the presentation and less about the photographic content.
And from the sublime … I needed to find some urbanalia and textures to decorate the website. I think I’m getting slightly carried away, but I’m sure they’ll all come in useful for something one day. Thank heavens for digital attics!
