An exciting day in Greenwich – the reasons why will be revealed at some other time. Today there was a big push on the tube for poppy selling by servicemen and I got chatting to these two Able Seaman whose ship is currently based in Docklands. They set sail again on Sunday.
I do like the way that this year the British Legion has introduced a wristband with poppies on it, as I can now wear one permanently, instead of for ten minutes before I lose it as the pin works itself free.
