“Nuppence” means: ‘No money; nothing’, (OED). And what a fab word that is! I need a new comfy chair and I’ve had my eye on this one for a while. As the shop was open today, I ventured in to enquire about its price, but sadly, if I were to buy one, I’d be left with nuppence. I shall have speak to Wilcey about ways of creating an imitation one with a fluffy blanket that would cost next to tuppence.

Day #6 of the second 365 project, where the daily pic is informed by the OED word of the day.
