Today’s word was “Nassau”, which is: ‘In golf: a three-part bet on the winner of the first nine holes, the second nine holes, and the match. More fully Nassau bet.’(OED). Fernshaw is a golf course in Australia and is also a road, a close and a mansion block in SW10.
